Holiday Lookbook: Sparkle and Shine This Season

Holiday Lookbook: Sparkle and Shine This Season

I have a confession: when it comes to holiday events, I care just as much about the accessories as I do about the outfit. You could show up in jeans and a sweater, but throw on a pair of earrings that sparkle just right, and suddenly you’re the most festive person in the room. That’s the magic of jewelry; it transforms your look.

Creating jewelry for the holidays is one of my favorite parts of running Jasper & Elm. It’s the time of year when everything feels a little more meaningful—every piece I make is designed to add joy to someone’s season, whether it’s a gift or the finishing touch for their holiday look.

Let’s talk about some of my favorite pairings for holiday outfits, because trust me, the right accessories can take your festive game to a new level.

The Cozy Family Dinner

If your family is anything like mine, holiday dinners are all about keeping things casual while still feeling festive. You want to be comfortable (because, pie), but you also want to look nice in those inevitable group photos.

The Outfit: A soft knit sweater in a holiday color—deep cranberry, forest green, or even a neutral cream—with jeans or a flowy skirt.

The Jewelry: Christmas Tree Glass Beaded Earrings: These earrings have just enough sparkle to feel seasonal without being “too much.”

Christmas Glass Beaded Gold-Filled Necklace: This one layers beautifully over any neckline, adding a subtle glow that works for everything from a chunky turtleneck to a scoop neck.

The Festive Office Party

Holiday office parties can be a bit of a balancing act. You want to look polished and professional, but hey, it’s still a party—why not have a little fun with it?

The Outfit: A wrap dress in a jewel tone or a blazer layered over a silky cami with tailored trousers.

The Jewelry: Black & White Plaid Christmas Tree Acrylic Earrings: These are my personal favorite for office parties because they’re festive but still modern and chic.

You can also add a White Glass & Gold-Filled Beaded Choker Necklace if you’re layering for a complete polished look.

The Holiday Market Stroll (or Brunch with Friends)

Holiday markets are one of my favorite things this time of year. Wandering around with hot cocoa, picking out gifts, and just soaking in the twinkle lights—it’s the best. And brunch? Who doesn’t love a good holiday waffle situation?

The Outfit: A cozy turtleneck sweater, high-waisted jeans, and boots (extra points if they’re heeled).

The Jewelry: Christmas Bar Acrylic Dangling Earrings: Fun, lightweight, and they add just enough personality to keep your look festive.

Pair them with a delicate layered necklace for a little extra shine such as the Celestial Dyed Jade Gold-Filled Statement Necklace.

New Year’s Eve Glam

New Year’s Eve is where I get to go all out. There’s something satisfying about ending the year with sparkles and bold looks. It just feels so right.
The Outfit: A sequin dress, a velvet jumpsuit, or an all-black sleek look with killer heels.
The Jewelry: Sparkly Christmas Tree Acrylic Dangles: These are perfect if your outfit is doing most of the talking, but you still want a nod to the season.

For a bolder vibe, pair them with a chunky statement necklace—because it’s New Year’s Eve, and it’s the perfect time of the year to go big.

Jewelry That’s Made to Last

Here’s a lesson I’ve learned about jewelry: quality matters. All the pieces I create are made with hypoallergenic materials because nothing ruins a good night faster than itchy ears or a necklace that turns your skin green. Every piece is designed to feel as good as it looks, because you should be able to wear your jewelry all night without even thinking about it.

Make It Personal

One of the things I love most about this season is how personal everything feels. When someone picks out a piece of jewelry from Jasper & Elm as a gift, I know they’re thinking about that person’s style, what makes them smile, and how they’ll feel unwrapping something special.

It’s the little moments—like when your friend squeals over earrings that are so them or when you find a necklace that makes your go-to sweater feel new again—that make this time of year magical.
So whether you’re shopping for someone else or just treating yourself (you deserve it, by the way), I hope these pieces help you shine a little brighter this season.
Cheers to a holiday filled with love, sparkle, and way too many Christmas cookies.
